One of our direct clients is actively seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team.

Duration: 6 months+ extension
Duties:
The duties of a Supply Chain Manager include, but are not limited to:
Supply Chain Strategy:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that are aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement and favorable terms.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and performance.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure that the right amount of product is available when needed.
- Implement inventory control processes to minimize waste, reduce excess stock, and avoid shortages.
- Monitor and manage inventory turnover, lead times, and reorder points.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of product transportation and distribution.
- Work with logistics providers to optimize shipping routes, costs, and delivery times.
- Ensure that products are delivered to customers on time and in good condition.
Production Planning:
- Collaborate with production teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules.
- Develop and implement production plans that meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
- Monitor production performance and adjust supply chain plans as needed.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Implement contingency plans to address disruptions in supply, logistics, or production.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and systems.
- Implement lean manufacturing and supply chain best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software , Blue Yonder, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Able to communicate effectively and lead others through change and new strategic initiatives.
- Able to build effective teams, coach and develop others.
- An individual who seizes opportunities and takes initiative as appropriate.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
