One of our direct clients is actively seeking a Systems Administrator to join their team. The System Administrator will educate our employees and act as the first point of contact for support within the business for technical needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong time-management skills and excellent communication skills, which enable him/her to work with various employees and leaders within the company. The System Administrator will own any/all technical problems and feel passionate about technology and helping others.  


Job Title:  Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months+ extension



Job Duties

The duties of a Senior Systems Administrator include, but are not limited to:
• Administers complex platforms to support devices statewide including centralized Configuration Management, Environment Management, Asset Management, Service Management, Antivirus and Threat Protection, and Network Printing platforms;
• Participates in managing small and large scale system upgrade and implementation projects;
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and configuration;
• Documents technical user guides and procedures; Reviews, develops and publishes knowledgebase articles;
• Design and develop system performance and support ticket metrics reports.
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science is required
  • Prior Technical Support experience 
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, equipment, technology and other performance-monitoring tools
  • Strong understanding of proactive customer servicea
