Job Title: Epic Principle Trainer (Resolute HB/PB)
Location: Raleigh, NC

Client is seeking an experienced Epic certified Principle trainer in Resolute HB & PB to lead the development, delivery, and maintenance of role‑based training programs and training environments (MST) across our Epic ecosystem. 

Required Epic Certifications (must be current at time of hire)

  • Resolute Hospital Billing Curriculum Certification
  • Resolute Professional Billing Curriculum Certification
  • TED105 – Training Wheels Behind the Scenes Certification
  • TED300 – Training Environment Build Certification

Curriculum & Content

  • Design, develop, and maintain role‑based training content for Epic using Microsoft Office and other tools.
  • Build comprehensive instructional materials and classroom exercises; maintain related policy and procedure documentation.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve training programs and administration processes.
  • Learn new Epic content areas; consult with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Training Environment (MST)

  • Assist with building, refreshing, and testing MST training environments; validate workflows and roles.
  • Provide environmental support, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams.

Delivery & Facilitation

  • Co‑facilitate classroom instruction with other trainers; assist learners during hands‑on exercises.
  • Prepare lessons, print materials, and set up rooms/environments prior to sessions.
  • Present information clearly—both verbally and in writing—to diverse audiences.
  • Follow up with trainees outside the classroom and offer additional support.

Educator & Mentor

  • Serve as an expert educator to state staff.
  • Train-the-trainer: credential and coach additional classroom trainers as needed.
  • Teach technical topics to staff and end users when required.

Planning & Administration

  • Manage application assignments by prioritizing work, creating schedules, and adhering to timelines.
  • Support curriculum and training development for third‑party applications as needed.

Skill Matrix

  • Epic Principal Trainer Experience Required 3 Years
  • Active Epic certifications listed above (Resolute HB, Resolute PB, TED105, TED300). Required
  • EHR/Health IT training experience Required 5 Years
  • Ability to work without close supervision, taking ownership of work activities, & ensuring training sessions & materials meet Epic's standards Required
  • Skill and experience in adult education, especially for health information technology or healthcare revenue cycle applications Required 3 Years
  • Demonstrating flexibility with respect to required changes in training content and delivery methods Required
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work activities &ensure that they are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely Required
  • Ability to learn new content and leverage that knowledge to develop strong training programs. Required
  • Develops presentations & presents in a clear & interesting manner, commanding the audience's attention, & handling questions/challenges. Required 3 Years
  • Experience performing job shadowing Required 3 Years
  • Credentialed and/or experienced in developing the Epic training environments. Highly desired 3 Years
