Job Title: IT Sourcing Consultant
Location: Detroit, MI

POSITION OVERVIEW:  seeking qualified candidates who will utilize their knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as an on site IT Sourcing Consultant. Core responsibilities include contract administration, budget tracking, and provisioning for the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrate enterprise technology contracts across the lifecycle.
  • Plan and track the department budget: expenses, projects, capital, and services.
  • Plan, provision, and track technology assets, licenses, and services.
  • Act as an internal liaison with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Accounting.
  • Act as an external liaison with key technology vendors and resellers.
  • Prepare solicitations for goods, services, and projects.
  • Prepare evaluations and write-ups for new technology.
  • Work onsite 5 days a week.
  • Perform related duties as directed.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. OR
  • High School Diploma with minimum ten (10) years of experience performing the duties outlined in the Minimum Qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five years experience administrating technology contracts across the lifecycle - requests, solicitations, amendments, renewals, and terminations.
  • Five years experience planning and tracking technology department budgets - expenses, projects, capital, and services.
  • Five years experience planning, provisioning, and tracking technology licenses, hardware assets, and professional and warranty services.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies (or equivalent):

  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on their own in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Working knowledge with core technologies: Oracle Fusion, ServiceNow, Office365.
  • Basic understanding of emerging technology and concepts such as AI, IoT, etc.
