Job Title: Tableau developer
Location: Tumwater, WA

We are looking for one Journey or Senior level “Tableau Developer” contractor to supplement our existing staff. Our Tableau server is on-premises, and only AGO staff have access to the dashboards (no public or web access). 

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for Agile/Scrum backlog management, Team Foundation Server for source control is desired. 
  • Depending on the contractor’s experience with SQL Server views, additional work would be available to make updates to approximately ten SQL Views used as the data source for the Tableau dashboards. 
  • Analysis skills are also desired to determine what changes are needed for these data source SQL Views, and to determine what associated changes to Tableau filters. 

Please let us know if you expect to have someone available with these skills, what level they are at (it may require “Expert” level to get someone with all these skills), and which category you have this work listed under on the Statewide Contract (Application Developer or Web Developer). Once we know if there will be vendor(s) available, we will document the details of this engagement in a Statement of Work and Professional Services Contract.
