Job Title: SAP PP/PM consultant
Location: Foster city, CA

Key Points: SAP S/4 HANA, Plant Maintenance, Production Planning & Configuration, maintain their equipment and systems, including equipment maintenance, SAP Plant Maintenance Configuration.

Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Full Lifecycle SAP Implementations experience with expertise in PP/PM Modules
  • 8-10 years of experience with SAP PP and SAP PM modules
  • Expertise in S/4 HANA environments and at least 2-3 full life cycle SAP implementations
  • Strong understanding of integration points with SAP MM, SD, QM, FI/CO
  • Strong understanding of Master Data and integration points involved with PP/PM/QM/PLM Areas.
  • Understanding of SAP inventory and warehouse management experience. Experience with SAP EWM integration is highly desirable.
  • Sound functional and technical experience in PM module
  • Understands SAP best-practices, business processes, operational procedures and the relationships between PP and PM Modules in a manufacturing establishment.
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes such as Agile and Waterfall.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) in S/4 HANA.
  • Responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solution supporting end to end supply chain functions in an engineer to order environment.
  • The SAP Supply Chain PP/PM position is primarily responsible for implementing the SAP S4HANA for PP & PM modules.
  • Ability to work on enterprise solutions.
  • This person will be strong in corresponding business processes and related project implementation.
  • Opportunity to complete holistic solutions by defining functional design gaps and solutions for objects to add to the system.
  • Facilitate training sessions for the users where appropriate.
  • Ensure appropriate support and new development documentation is followed (i.e. scope, design, test plans, issues and cutover lists, project plans).
  • Demonstrate effective team skills with strong oral and written communication on deliverables.
  • Facilitate the issue resolution process by tracking the status of issues in process.
  • Flexible and able to adapt in a high growth environment. Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.
  • The candidate will use in-depth analysis skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to implement effective solutions and provide support services to end users.
  • Additional responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Manufacturing / Automotive industry is a plus
  • SAP PP or SAP PM Certifications are huge plus.
